Tracing Services

Tracing for Individuals

People come to us with tracing needs for many different reasons. A missing person. An estranged family member. A debtor who has become unreachable. In each case, we begin by understanding the specific circumstances before any search begins, because the nature of the relationship and the intended use of the findings both shape how the work should be approached.

Our investigators draw on established databases, intelligence sources and direct investigative method. A trace can begin with a name, a phone number or an email address. The more accurate the starting information, the more precisely we can move. We cover the UK and international locations, including matters involving individuals separated by adoption or birth. Where findings are required in legal proceedings, our investigators can attend court to present them.

Most traces are completed within 14 days. Where a subject is actively concealing their whereabouts, or where the matter is more complex by nature, we say so at the outset and give a realistic picture of what to expect.

Tracing for Business

We work with businesses requiring the location of debtors, former employees, missing business partners, or individuals relevant to an ongoing investigation or legal matter.

Findings are compiled in written or video format, and all work is conducted in accordance with UK legal requirements. Where a case proceeds to court or arbitration, the integrity and admissibility of the evidence will not be a concern.

Our Approach

Our team carries backgrounds in military and government investigative work. That experience shapes how every case is handled: methodically, discreetly, and with a clear understanding of what the findings may need to support further down the line. Investigators who have worked in high-consequence environments understand that how information is gathered matters as much as what is found, particularly when findings may later face scrutiny.

Every engagement is treated in confidence. We do not treat sensitive matters as routine, and we do not present findings that have not been properly substantiated.

Provide as much accurate and relevant detail as possible: the subject’s full name, last known address, date of birth, previous employers, contact numbers and any known associates. The specificity of starting information has a direct bearing on speed and accuracy. A common name without supporting identifiers will constrain the search from the outset. The more precise the information supplied, the more focused and effective the process becomes.

Timeframes depend on the complexity of the case and the subject’s behaviour. Some individuals are located quickly through standard data and intelligence sources. Others have taken deliberate steps to conceal their movements, which extends the process considerably. Each case is assessed individually, and a realistic timeframe is given at the start.
